Each affiliate program offer the tools needed to market and sell a particular product/service. Some training programs are more advance than others, and depending on your skill level you can select which program you wish to start with. The simpler programs include training ebooks, regular email follow-ups and video presentations.

Needless to say training is important, especially in the early going; so buckle down, get as much of the material as you can, and maintain contact with me on a regular basis so that anything you don't understand, I can assist you with. An Open Letter to Aspiring Affiliate/Network Marketers

Dear Aspiring Affiliate/Network Marketer:

I'm going to speak with you from the heart and say the words that need to be said and try not to hold back information simply because it may not come across as attractive or encouraging. As long as the words are true and the method(s) I speak of can be authenticated, I think you will agree that the conversation should be genuine.

This letter is meant to provide the most practical steps you need to take in order to start, grow, and succeed as an Affiliate/Network Marketer. The very first step is to make a commitment to yourself that Affiliate/Network Marketing is what you really want to do. However, let's establish that our interpretations of commitment are the same and we're therefore on the same page.

What commitment to a project means to me is to include that project among the top 5 on my priority list of "things to do daily" and perform an action everyday that moves the project forward. It's that simple. If you're ready, willing and able to make this kind of commitment, then read on. These Free CDs will provide some perspective.

Get a personal training program

The second step is to decide which of the affiliate/network marketing methods you want to specialize in. One of the following methods is recommended for beginners: Website publishing, blogging, or article writing. Other affiliate marketing methods may be accessible after you have progressed sufficient enough to start your own blog or create your own website.

Once you have decided on a method, the next step you need to take is to set up the tool that will be needed to start your project. If you're not sure which method best suits you, the answer may become clearer after completing your first assignment.

I will discuss the blog first since you may be able to accommodate article writing to some extent also. Blog software is usually included with many free website creation systems on the internet. What comes to mind immediately are Blogspot, Blogger, and WordPress.

Once your blog is created, some of the articles you write can be posted there after a little reformatting. By the way, make sure that you write about something that you are comfortable with, a subject you are familiar with or one that you are passionate about. Here's an example of a blog that is already operable.

An active blog can go a long way in attracting readers who may be as interested in your subject as you are; and if it relates to your job, club/association, or favorite sport your co-workers, friends and associates may be some of your best supporters. My techniques will help you to enhance your article writing. If you decide to write blogs and articles, you should take a look at this tool.

Article writing is a specialized method of promoting products, services or oneself, but it should be done on a regular basis if you are to attract a significant number of people to follow you. When you progress further you will most likely discover differing opinions on what makes the best article, but as I said earlier, if you write about subjects that interest you or a topic you are familiar with, the formatting and character/count will fall into place. Character/word count is a part of article writing that you must be mindful of. Marketing success requires adequate copywriting!

There are tools included with most editors (example, Microsoft Word, Open Office, Google Docs, etc.) that you can use to keep your word/character count within the limits imposed by article distribution services. ADS companies that I have used and found to be satisfactory are Content Crooner and Isnare among others. Websites are probably most popular among the three affiliate marketing methods mentioned because they are more familiar to most people.
