It requires the best I have that can be offered to the world. Realizing that my best may not be good enough or of high enough quality to be useful or beneficial to anyone else, the question then becomes, how on earth am I going to begin a Web Marketing Career that will be sustainable in any way? Can I write well enough on a regular basis for others to read? If so, I may be able to create a blog; But how will I create enough revenue from a blog to support my family?
May be I can pay a Web professional to create a website for me. That will surely be enough to get My Web Marketing Career started; But how much will that cost me? I don't have a lot of money, and what little I do have I can't afford to lose; so if I pay to have a website created I'll need assurance (if not a guarantee) that it will generate enough revenue in a short time period (a very short time period) in order to replace the money I laid out. After all that money would have to come from my family's household budget.
May be I don't have to pay anyone to create my website; I can probably put up my own website by visiting one of the internet sites that advertises "create a free website" programs and sign-up to learn how their program and website creation system works. It'll probably take a little longer but at least I wouldn't have to lay out any large sums of money. The one question that still remains, though, is how will I earn any money? And, how long will it take before I earn any money? Plus...What am I going to put on my website? Wouldn't I need content?
Tweet Traffic Rush combines the best tools and resources on the Web in a unique traffic creation system that send massive traffic rushes to your website!
Do I have something to sell that will be useful or beneficial to others? All the reading I have done and advertisements I have seen about success on the Web consist of articles, websites, blogs, videos on YouTube and links & banners. I am not technical so links and banners are out. I am not a writer so articles are out. I'm certainly not a photographer and even if I had a suitable camera, how on earth will I be able to get my photos on the Web? It looks like the only thing I may be able to do (or reasonably attempt) is a blog, even though it will mean that I have to write something to publish on it.
I still don't know how this blog is going to generate an income for My Web Marketing Career but if I'm going to get started doing anything on the Web I guess it's going to have to be in an area that I can manage without taking too much time from work or take me away from important time I have to spend with my family. After all writing a few lines about a hobby or my friends and/or my family shouldn't be too time-consuming. That's it...I'll be a blogger. In-fact, isn't there a site on the Web known as Blogger?

The one thing I am sure of is this; there are a lot of questions that need to be answered before I can begin making money on the Web and therefore any hopes of looking to the Web as a means of making a living and supporting my family will remain just "hopes" until such time as answers are provided to the questions asked, plus - I'm sure - many more that haven't been revealed yet; But, it is encouraging that an article such as this one; full of questions and uncertainty can be published on the Web; On this website, or a blog post or may be submitted to an E-Zine for distribution (after some additional editing, of course).
My Web Marketing Career may be one of answers to those questions, solutions to problems, information I have that no one else has in the same way I have it, or simply experiences that are unique to me - as most experience are unique to the individual. Another thing I am sure of is this; My Web Marketing Career will be one of learning, and as long as I am on the Web it will necessarily be one of sharing. After all what on earth am I going to put on my blog except things I have learned?
The best advice? If doubts persist, work through them! But do not quit!
The following are a number of affiliate programs you can join and start promoting right away if you do not have a product or service of your own with which to begin promoting on the Web. Some may require that you have a website so that they can determine how many visitors you are capable of attracting each month. Others do not require you to have a website as long as you can demonstrate that you have the ability to promote, market, and sell the merchant's product or service.

Affiliate Programs: Practical Business Approach
Affiliate programs are so popular that it is likely you have heard of them before, even if you aren’t a website owner. While many individuals have heard of affiliate programs, there are very few who actually know what they are. If you are interested in capitalizing on this amazing business approach, you are encouraged to familiarize yourself with affiliate programs and what they can do for you. Doing so may very well be the best decision that you could make to operate a Web marketing business.
Affiliate programs are business programs, also sometimes referred to as business opportunities, which are ideal for webmasters. All webmasters can benefit from the use of an affiliate program, but those looking to make money can benefit even more. This is because, as an affiliate, you will be selling merchandise for another company which allows you to make money without having to sell your own products.
A large number of companies participate in affiliate programs, namely retailers. Once you make the decision to join an affiliate program, you will have to file an affiliate partner request form. This form is usually small, but it is almost always required. Most of the retailers in charge of running an affiliate programs are well known; therefore, they want to protect their image. This means that before officially joining an affiliate program your website has to be reviewed. If your website is approved, which most legitimate ones are, the next step will all depend on the company with which you will be working.
Most retailers or affiliate advertisers will have customized links or banners. These banners will need to be placed on your website. These advertisements will vary from company to company; however, most advertisements showcase merchandise or special sales. If one of your website visitors is interested in learning more, they will click on your link or banner. In doing so, your website will be flagged. This flagging is often done to ensure that you will receive the proper credit for bringing in new customers. If an Internet user, who clicked one of your affiliate links or banners, makes the decision to purchase anything, you will receive credit for that purchase.
The amount of money that you can make from an affiliate program will all depend on which type of program you are participating in. As previously mentioned, a large number of businesses, including retail stores, operate their own affiliate program. Each business is able to decide the amount of money that you will make from each sale. That money is often a percentage amount. Most affiliate programs begin at around five percent of the sale, but some can go as high as ten or fifteen.
When it comes to affiliate programs, there are many webmasters who decide not to join one because they feel the commission percentage is not worth their time. While this may be the case in come instances, it is not always so. In fact, the best way to make money with affiliate programs is to join more than one program. Some affiliate advertisers, such as retail stores, may have strict limitations on other links and banners can be displayed on the same page as theirs, but many are flexible.
If you are able to join more than one affiliate program, you are advised to do so. Many webmasters have found success by doing this. Imagine, if you could make money off of one affiliate program, how much money do you think you could make off of five or ten of them? When joining a number of different affiliate programs, it is advised that you carefully track all of your records and earnings. This is easy to do with one or two programs, but with more you may want to consider purchasing affiliate tracking software. Those software programs provide easy methods to keep track of your earnings.
To make the most out of affiliate programs, you are advised to take the time to find the right one. Many webmasters sign up for the first affiliate program they come across. While all affiliate programs may be able to generate money, some will perform better than others. By finding these programs, you should be able to make a substantial amount of money with affiliate programs.
When you first start your online business, the first and most obvious question you will ask yourself is…what am I going to sell? Points to consider when deciding the answer to that question are:
The last two characteristics are the ones that can be hard to pin down. Here is a generally accepted method of arriving at an idea of how heavy the demand and competition is for a product.
If you have a special interest in some products that meet the above criteria, great, but don't limit your investigation just to items you like. You are looking for a niche product with relatively good demand (enough to make it profitable), but without heavy competition.
One way to see what the demand is for products you are interested in is to look at search engines to see how frequently people search for the product you are considering.
The result of all this research should be that one or more products will fit into a niche market - products with some demand, and relatively little supply. For the best results, focus on one niche product category, and offer a wide selection. That way, you can become the best online source for that particular category. For example, instead of offering general craft supplies, offer the widest possible selection of needlepoint kits. This strategy will also allow you to rank higher in search engines because you can optimize your pages for fewer, more specific, keywords.
